Our goal is to make this site a means for everyone to be informed about what's happening at Capilano United.

Worship and Sunday School for children starts at 10:30am and ends at 11:30am followed by coffee, tea, juice, treats and conversation.

We are located at the corner of Philip Avenue and West 22nd Street, in the Pemberton Heights neighbourhood of North Vancouver, BC.

Our minister is the Rev. John Kim.

Kidcooks Classes start Jan 30th,2012

We will be starting a 5 week session for kidcooks beginning the week of January 30th,2012. This series of classes will focus on comfort foods for kids to help take the nip out of winter. Contact Karen at 778-838-0605 or go to www.kidcooks.ca to register or find out more details.

Mondays at 6:30pm- Bootcamp with Greg Day

Tuesday & Thursday 6-7pm and Saturday 9-10am- Bootcamp with Body Exchange. Louise Green offers a fantastic entry level fitness program for plus size clients. New classes starting January 5^th.  Go to info@bodyexchange.ca or 604.785.7018 for more information.

Friday 9am- Fitness with Ellen- Ellen has fun and invigorating fitness class which has been keeping members of our neighbourhood fit for over 20years. Every class is new and you are invited to join in on January 6th.

 

Zumba with Zumba Vancouver- Join Zumba on Wednesdays at 9:30am with Maggie or Saturdays at 10:15 am with Luglio for a fun filled fitness Latin style dance class. Christmas at Capilano United

Please join us on December 18th at 4pm for a wonderful, winter evening of or music and  singing at Capilano United. We will have festive music performed by our own Capilano Soul Choir along with songs by the children's choir of Capilano Elementary School and special performances by the Downton Singers. Please come early as seating will be limited.

We would also like to invite everyone to our traditional Christmas Eve candelight service on December 24th at 7pm. Please join us during this festive time of year to enjoy the spirit and taditions of the Christmas season.

Open House at Sunflower Preschool

An Evening of Sowing Seeds...

... at Sunflower Trattoria

Please join us and Sunflower Preschool for a fundraiser to support the school's phase II enhancement project.  Enjoy a Tuscon inspired night out  with  an Italian dinner, music, and silent auction at East Side Mario's in the Lonsdale Quay on Saturday November 19th at 7:30pm. The tickets are $40 and this includes Mangiare (3 course meal), Ballare (live music) and Vino (a full bar). Kris Kringle Market

Zumba, Zumba

Join us for our fun filled Zumba classes for all ages on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:30 and now on Saturday mornings starting Nov 5/11 from 10:15-11:15 with Luglio from Zumba Vancouver. Go to www.zumbavancouver.ca for further details.

ZUMBA in Pemberton Heights

We are excited to offer Zumba classes Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am in the Gym at Capilano United Church.  Maggie is going to teach the classes and she is running at free class Oct 19th and then start the program Oct 26- Dec 14th (8 classes)  People can register $88 or drop in $14.
