Mark, Brendan, Andrew, Michael, Keita, Daniel, Julia, Ali, Judy, Leina, Eric, Katie, Emma, Rachel, Katie, Emma, Sarah, Rachel, Connor, and Zach invite you to join them this Sunday, for their Sunday School program followed by the gala dedication of their special room.
Come to the church at 10:30am for 20 minutes of worship together, then 40 minutes of our all-ages-together Sunday School program in the CE Centre (while the adults continue to worship together in the church). That will be followed by the adults joining the children at the CE Centre for a fun dedication of the newly redecorated Sunday School room. (And for the truly curious, a chance to inspect the new furnaces as well.)
We are the Pemberton Heights only church and Sunday School. Because we are small, we are one of the few places where children of all ages learn and play together. And because we are small, you are likely to quickly connect with a neighbour or school/soccer/dance/music/etc. friend.
We believe children are born with a built-in spirituality. And the Bible stories we tell, the songs we sing, the art we create, the prayers we say, and the help we give others all nurture this faith. Our Sunday school is fun and engaging, while at the same time it teaches the core habits of the way Jesus shows us how to live.
