Day trip invitation to Carol’s cottage – Keats Island
Saturday, September 27th
You and your family are invited to
spend the day up at our family
cottage on Keats Island
(behind Bowen Island) in
the Howe Sound.
Access to the island is by boat
only so we have the option of
using BC Ferries (Horseshoe Bay
to Langdale) plus public water taxi; or rent a private water taxi from Horseshoe Bay.
Approximate travelling cost would range from $15.00 - $40.00 / person return (depending on the mode of transportation used)
There aren’t any stores on
this island and only two
roads, so life here is pretty
lay back. But as you can see,
it’s a nice place to relax and
enjoy the view. There’s some
nice trails to meander through
the forest, or if you’re more
venturesome, there is a small hill to climb to enjoy a 360-degree view of Howe Sound.
We have electricity, running water, fridge, stove, micro-wave, stereo, and tv.
