A special meeting of the congregation of Capilano United will be held following worship on Sunday, January 31, 2010 for the purpose of receiving and acting on the report of the Joint Needs Assessment Committee regarding the future ministry of Capilano United. Printed copies of the JNAC report will be available at worship, January 24 and 31.
Everyone is reminded that only those who have been formally received as members of Capilano United are eligible to vote.
The Church Office and any Board Member (Marion Sebastion, Carol Sawyer, Laurel Coard, Jan Kocaba, Sandi McIntosh-Kocaba) has the record of who is listed in our Membership Roll. Please contact them if you are uncertain of your membership status.
And please request to become a member if that is your desire. The Board will meet following worship on January 24 to consider all requests received.
If you have ever been a member of any church before, the practice of the United Church of Canada is simply to receive you as a member of Capilano as a “Transfer.” If you have never been a member of any church before, then we ask that you indicate that you indeed are wanting to be a member of Capilano United.
