Scouts and Guides of Canada

Wednesday 7:30pm- Yoga with Amber Rodgers- Join Amber and her group of Pemberton Heights residence for a relaxing mixed level Hatha yoga class. Contact her at amber@northvancouveryoga.ca for details.

Friday 9am-Fitness with Ellen- Come and join Ellen for her fun and invigorating fitness class which has been keeping members of our neighbourhood fit for 20 years.

Sunflower has Bloomed

Sunflower Preschool has completed it's renovations and it looks absolutely amazing. The new space which once was the CE centre lounge has now been transformed into a bright and happy preschool space. Thank you to Susan and Brendon Sherwin and the many volunteers who helped to improve our fantastic preschool.

Upcomming events at Capilano United

Capilano United has some exciting events comming up June 11-12th weekend

1)Multi Family Sale on June 11/11at the church from 10-2pm. New and used items with partial proceeds benefiting the Ride to Conquer Cancer.

2) Sunflower Preschool's first ever "Digging Dirt whilst Digging Dreams" revitalization fundraiser at Hugo Ray park in West Vancouver from 7:30-10pm. Entrance is free and there will be door prizes, silent and live auction , live music, coctails and more. Everyone Welcome!!

3) Special Music  at Capilano- Join us and the Dowton Singers onJune 12 at the 10:30 Sunday service for a fun-filled musical service. Friends and neighbours are alway welcome.

Our Last Service before summer holidays will be June 26^th /11. This will be a short service at 10:30 followed by an Open House and a re-dedication at the church manse along with a family BBQ in the yard. Please join us and see our minister’s new home and all the  tremendous work that has been done on the home by our dedicated congregation.

 Summer Service for the month of July will be at St. David’s United Church. Capilano United will begin regular Sunday Service on August 7^th /11. See you then and enjoy the summer.

 

 

Body Exchange Boot Camps

We are pleased to announce a new fitness group at Capilano United starting Tuesday March 8 6-7pm. Body Exchange specializes in Boot Camps and Personal Training for Plus Size clients.

They will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7pm and Saturdays 9-10am. Contact Louise Green at 604-785-7018 for further information.

Kidcooks Spring Sessions
